Ecological City: a Planner's Dream

Abstract

In this article the author considers theoretical aspects of a new ecological or sustainable approach to city planning. The article explores inter-disciplinarity: the arguments for planning in the natural sciences (ecological rationality) and the social sciences (social rationality) and their interconnections (nature contract).
