Abstract

In this article we explore architecture and urban development through discursive positions and power relations. The account illustrates how discursive foundations constitute how the city is perceived, illuminated through a municipal report on the future development of Oslo in relation to high-rise development, subsequent discussions in of newspapers and written consultative statements to the municipality.
