Innovation, Design and the Virtual

Abstract

This article outlines a case for architects and designers to be
more involved in discussions of innovation in construction
and engineering and more generally in discussions of virtualities
including style, community, market, and brand which characterize
wealth creation in knowledge societies. The virtual is a strategic topic
which is a common aspect of both design and innovation
and is approachable through design methodologies.
